Hello Nizhoni Families, We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Student-Led Conferences! Unlike traditional parent-teacher conferences, student-led conferences place your child in the driver’s seat. During your scheduled time, your student will share their progress, celebrate their achievements, showcase work samples, and discuss goals they are working toward this school year. Details & What to Expect: Student-Driven: Your child will lead the conversation and guide you through their learning portfolio. Teacher Support: Teachers will be present to offer insights, answer questions, and support the conversation. Goal Setting: Together, we will review academic and personal growth goals to support your student’s continued success. Dates: Thursday, October 22, 2026 Time: 3:15-7:15 pm Date: Friday, October 23, 2026 Time: 8:00-11:30 am
We look forward to seeing our students shine and partnering with you for a successful school year! If you have any immediate questions, please feel free to reach out to Nizhoni Elementary Schoool at 368-4565.
Warm regards, Shirleen Rivers Principal, Nizhoni Elementary School
Hello Nizhoni Families,
In honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day, there will be no school tomorrow, Monday, October 12th.
We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, October 13th at 7:45 AM.
Important Reminder: Wednesday, October 14th is our official 40th-Day Student Count. Because this count directly impacts our state funding, it is critical that every student is present and on time.
Thank you for your continued support!
